2 1/2" strips of fabrics, often called jelly rolls, are an invaluable tool for your stash. Aside from being the basis for a large number of patterns, they come in handy for bindings, sashings, and framing other blocks. Some strip packs represent many of the prints in a line of fabric but they also come in tone-on-tone and neutral colors as well.
Keeping a selection of 2 1/2" strips in your favorite neutrals can jump-start a new project and eliminate some of the cutting, giving you more crafting time overall!
